Tom Hiddleston, the British actor best known as playing Loki in the Avengers, has taken to the stage to cover two Hank Williams songs. Watch the video below.
As reported by Buzzfeed at this weekend's Weheatland Music Festival in Remus, Michigan Hiddleston performed two Williams tracks' "Move It On Over" and "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry". He was joined on stage by Grammy Award-winning country singer Rodney Cowell.

Hiddleston is playing Williams in new film I Saw The Light, which starts shooting in Louisiana in October. According to Variety, the film is being produced by Brett Ratner's RatPac Entertainment and the script will be directed by Marc Abraham, based on the 1994 book Hank Williams: The Biography by Colin Escott.

Unlike Andre Benjamin's Jimi Hendrix biopic due out later this year, the filmmakers have secured writes to use Williams songs in the biopic. These include “Your Cheatin’ Heart,” “I”m So Lonesome I Could Cry” and “Hey Good Lookin’.”
