Bob Dylan is to be honoured with an all-star concert after being named as the 2015 MusiCares Person of the Year.
The Hollywood Reporter has cited Neil Young, Jack White, The Black Keys, Crosby Stills + Nash, Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder and Tom Jones among the many legendary artists who will perform at the celebratory event. Currently set for February 6th, the concert will boast musical direction from Don Was with additional acts to be revealed in the next few months.
The MusiCares award is presented by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, who celebrate artists that have made significant contributions to music and philantrophy. The title reflects the academy's MusiCares foundation that works to provide health and medical assistance to musicians in need. All proceeds from the event will go towards the foundation.
