Canadian cult indie rock band Stars took on The Smiths this week when they covered 'What Difference Does It Make' for WXPN Radio. Listen to it below.
To promote their latest album, No One Is Lost, Stars played a session for the Like A Version section of the radio station, as well as performing several album tracks.
It's a stripped back, minimalist cover, but Torquil Campbell's vocals give Morrissey a run for his money in terms of their emotive rawness. It does occasionally veer into impression territory though.
