Noel Gallagher, Paul Weller, Johnny Marr, The Stereophonics and The Who are all set to play the annual Teenage Cancer Trust gigs at the Royal Albert Hall. Tickets go on sale today at 9am.
Marking the 15th anniversary of the first shows at the venue, the line-up is particularly strong this year. Paul Weller and Johnny Marr share a stage on 27 March while Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are being supported by Future Islands the following night.
It is also particularly gratifiying to see The Who appear united on the bill, backed by Wilko Johnson, who offers proof if any was needed of the real possibility of beating cancer. Also appearing will be The Stereophonics, Kevin Bridges and Van Morrison.
