Ant and Dec took the helm in presenting the 2015 BRIT Awards tonight (Wednesday 25 February, 2015) - with a mixed reaction from viewers.
The Geordie duo have taken the prestigious role at The O2 in London after James Corden stepped down from his stint - but their TV-lite chat and dad jokes have met a mixed response from viewers.
Some are rather enjoying it, others find it torture, and some just want them to perform as PJ and Duncan.
These guys are less than impressed:
Ant and Dec this is torture #BRITAwards

Someone wrote this Ant and Dec material. Seriously. They actually put pen to paper #BRITs2015

Ant and Dec are those awkward uncles that have no idea how to make conversation with other people.
— Colin (@omgitsc) February 25, 2015
Not watching the #BRITAwards. Mainly due to reasons of an Ant and Dec nature.
— Elizabeth Windsor (@Queen_UK) February 25, 2015
Is it me or are Ant and Dec so dry and not funny. They are like displaced nomads! #BRITs2015

That Bingo joke went down well, Ant and Dec. The curse of The Brits strikes again. No one is immune

Some people are having a pretty good time, though:
Still, proper pop star Taylor Swift. Proper presenters Ant and Dec.

The only good thing about the Brits is Ant & Dec. Can we give them an award?

— sam smith tho (@afireliv) February 25, 2015
The only talent in Britain is Ant & Dec themselves
— UK Banter (@UKBanter) February 25, 2015
Ant and dec are my literal baes

And these guys just want PJ and Duncan back:
Anyone else hoping for a cheeky performance of Let's Get Ready to Rhumble by Ant & Dec later on? #BRITAwards
— Elliot Gonzalez (@elliot_gonzalez) February 25, 2015
Switched off as soon as Ant and Dec walked out to Meghan Trainor, and not "let's get ready to rumble". Sell outs.
— Frank Sampard (@man_myth) February 25, 2015
Ant&Dec to sing Lets Get Ready To Rumble Pls
