Noel Gallagher turned 47 yesterday (29 May), and celebrated by posting a picture of himself in the recording studio.
The picture, which you can see above, shows Gallagher playing his guitar in what looks to be a very cluttered recording space.
It was posted on the musician's official Twitter account, which is maintained by his label Sour Mash Records.
Gallagher is currently working on his second solo album under the stage name Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. His debut album was released in 2011.

According to the singer's associate Mark Coyle, the album has the spirit of Oasis's debut, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
"The new record will be seismic," he said. "It's so explosive that, on the day it comes out, Virgin Trains won't be able to cope with all the people trying to flee the chaos."
