The month of January saw the departure of guitarist Bill Ryder-Jones for the second time following on from his mysterious departure midway through the recording of their third album 'The Invisible Invasion'. Whilst the reasoning behind this move has yet to be divulged The Coral have remained firm footed in their pursuit of the fourth albums promotion and now release their third single 'Put The Sun Back'.
A melodic acoustic/ electro mix of faultless instrumentation that meanders wearily in perfect unison to the tracks lyrical subject matter, James Skelly's trade mark mellow, Livipudlian twang covers this heart felt tale of woe with grace. A step up from previous release 'Jacqueline', the bands imminent attempt at movie soundtrack work will surely be warmly received in relation to the music being produced at this time.
