Wiley, once dubbed the Godfather Of Grime, has called out the scene on his new single 'Chasing The Art'. Check out the video below.
Following on from his tenth album, Snakes & Ladders, which was released last year, Wiley is back with a rallying call for his fellow grime artists, trying to motivate and inform them that the hard work isn't getting noticed, it's staying noticed. The video depicts Wiley racing round streets whilst rapping, intercut with footage of London graffiti.
In an interview with Fader, Wiley spoke about the inspiration for the song: 'I watched a Kevin Hart interview, then I made the song. He basically said when you pop off, you can go and chase all the industry money, and then when you get to a certain age, you start chasing the art."
