It’s been some time since the heady days of singles such as 'Dominos' and 'Velvet' and the band’s classic debut album, A Brief History of Love, but London band, The Big Pink, are back with some new music.
During the three years since the release of their second album, Future This, the band’s prospects have often seemed uncertain, especially after the departure of one of its founding members, Milo Cordell, in 2013.
Now they're back with 'Hightimes' - taken from their upcoming Empire Underground EP. A real esoteric slow-burner, 'Hightimes' offers more shimmering trademark My Bloody Valentine-style pop but with an underpinning of robust urban crunch and suggests The Big Pink are far from done.

Remaining members, Robbie Furze and Vicky Smith, however are to release a new EP, Empire Underground next year and have uploaded a new song, Hightimes, to Soundcloud.
