A group of artists celebrated the music of David Byrne and The Talking Heads in New York this week, during which many prestigious artists performed covers, and David Byrne danced to 'Uptown Funk'. Watch below.
The benefit show aimed to raise money for music education programs for underpriviliged young people, with the likes of Sharon Jones, Glen Hansard,and O.A.R. performed.
As CoS reports, Amanda Palmer, The Roots, Alexis Krauss, Pete Molinari and Joseph Arthur also covered Byrne's work during a rehearsal gig at City Winery.

Perhaps the highlight though was David Byrne dancing along to a cover of Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk' by the Brooklyn United Marching Band.

It was recently announced that David Byrne will curate the 2015 Meltdown Festival at London's Southbank Centre, which takes place between 17 and 28 August.
