The first teaser trailer for the new Amy Winehouse documentary, AMY was premiered today (2 April, 2015). Check it out below.

The forthcoming film from the BAFTA-award winning team behind Senna aims to explore and celebrate the colourful life of the late icon. The teaser poignantly shows the star at the start of the career, revealing she does not think or want to be famous because 'she'd go mad'.

AMY will tell the fascinating story of six-time Grammy-winner Amy Winehouse - in her own words, featuring extensive unseen archive footage and previously unheard tracks.

Amy Winehouse died in 2011 at the age of 27 from alcohol poisoning.

AMY is in UK cinemas 3 July 2015.
