Community Festival announce 'In The Community' pop up shows Shoreditch Photo:

One of 2015's last great festivals just got a little bit better - make sure you don't miss Community Festival next week. 

Shoreditch and Hoxton’s Community Festival have announced details of their ‘In The Community Programme’ - bringing a variety of free events, pop-up shops and performances to re-imagined spaces throughout the culturally vibrant area, from barber shops to coffee stores and more. It's going to a brilliant week for cutting edge new music. 

Take a look at what’s on offer:

Tommy Guns
The local barbers will be hosting an intimate performance from indie acoustic artist Lisa Mitchell, whilst cycling mecca, Cycle Labs will be taken over by the beautiful folk sounds of Robbie Boyd.

Fix Coffee
The barista responsible for fuelling the Shoreditch workforce will host three nights of acoustic charms with rising singer songwiters Ellie Ford, Theo Bard and Chloe Foy.  

Red’s True Barbecue: ‘The Woods Bar’
This beautiful BBQ joint will be showcasing a bunch of emerging musical talent; including alternative folk duo Ivy & Gold, indie trio Blaenavon and Afrikan Boy.

Box Park Shoreditch
They’ll be playing host to a very special DJ performance with the infectious sounds of Draper. Rokit The retro clothing specialists will host soulful singer, Charlie Straw in their diverse and stylish surroundings.

Café 1001
The coffee hub will be setting the stage for the respectively hyped Cuckoolander, Daisy Victoria and The Prettiots for what promises to be a stunning show.

Showcasing a diverse range of acts spanning multiple genres, Community already promises some truly stand-out evenings of new music, with headline performances from Lianne La Havas, Nothing But Thieves, Sunset Sons, Sundara Karma, The Japanese House and Young Guns.
