Drake promised all 20,000 fans at his O2 show last night (February 1) a refund after guest Travis Scott fell through a hole in the stage.

The accident, which occurred during the second of Drake’s eight nights at the venue as part of his Boy Meets World tour, damaged a planet-like globe which is a major centre-piece of the set, meaning it couldn’t be used later in the show.

As a result, Drake told the crowd that he would be “doing this shit for free tonight” and that he would “deal with it later”. “It’s real love in here tonight,” he said, “I don’t give a fuck about none of these people fucking up. I’m giving all their shit back.” Towards the end of the show he repeated his promise, saying “London England, I love you, I hope you enjoyed your free show.”

The incident took place during the song ‘Goosebumps’, when Scott tumbled into a large hole in the centre of the stage. Drake helped him out and he appeared unhurt. Later, Scott Tweeted “that shit was fun london is wild”.

The offer of a full refund for everyone at the show has yet to be confirmed.
