Ahead of their headline slot at Glastonbury next week, Metallica have released a brand new song. Listen to 'Lords Of Summer' below.
Dubbed as the 'First Pass Version', it is currently unclear if it will feature on the band's forthcoming new album - but you can download it now from iTunes here.
The track is an old-school blast of thrash-driven classic Metallica, harkening back to their peak in the late 80s and early 90s. It's huge, and we're pretty excited at the chance of howling "LAWDS OF SUMMAAAH" at Glastonbury next week.

Metallica will be headlining the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury on Saturday 28 June - but they'll also be appearing at Sonisphere from 4-6 July. For more information visit Gigwise Tickets.
