The details of the BBC's broadcast of the documentary about Foo Fighters' new album, Sonic Highways have been revealed.
The documentary marks the band's journey across eight US cities to record eight tracks for their eighth album.
Frontman Dave Grohl has described the show and album as "a love letter to the history of American music," and we're hugely excited to see it.
The series will start on BBC Four on Sunday 26 October. Four of the episodes will be broadast on BBC Four with a further two available on BBC iPlayer.
BBC Four Channel Editor, Cassian Harrison said: "BBC Four is renowned for its music programming and I am delighted we have acquired this innovative series that takes viewers into the very roots of popular music, in an epic nationwide odyssey."
