Rock duo Royal Blood have covered The Police for Radio 1's Live Lounge, with impressive results. Watch below.
The pair performed a rendition of The Police's seminal 'Roxanne', putting a grittier spin on the gentler tones of the original. With the slightly shaky cover versions that tend to come out of the Live Lounge, Royal Blood have proved their worth by pulling it off and making it look easy. Other bands take note.

Royal Blood scooped up two of the seven awards they were nominated for last night at the NME awards. They took home Best New Band and Best Live Band, while also performing at the awards..
