Auction site Paddle 8 is auctioning off Kurt Cobain's credit card as part of their Legendary: Memorabilia from Rock Gods & Pop Stars Auction, alongside Frank Sinatra's driving license and a U2 setlist from 1983.
The Nirvana frontman's personal credit card is on the site with a reserve bid of $5,500, and is expected to sell for somewhere between $7,000 and $9,000 - which is a lot considering the card doesn't even work. What you're paying for though, is Cobain's signature in blue ballpoint on the back of the Seafirst Bank card, and his King of Clubs credit card holder.
Sinatra's driving license is expected to sell for even more - between $8,000 and $10,000. Other items for sale include U2 setlist, various photographs of Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, The Doors, a cheque made out to Jim Morrison with his 'rare' signature on the back, a signed Led Zeppelin LP and concert posters for everyone from The Clash to B.B. King and Muddy Waters.
The auction finishes on February 26, so if you're keen to be the proud owner of a credit card that expired in 1995, you'd better get bidding!
