St. Vincent made a surprise appearance during Jenny Lewis' set in Marfa, Texas over the weekend, during which she beamed endlessly, showed off some pretty impressive drumming skills and covered 'Groove Is In The Heart'. Watch below.
Lewis, who was best known as the lead singer of Rilo Kiley before going solo, performed at Trans-Pecos Festival Of Music and Love in Annie Clark's home-state on Saturday (26 September). As CoS reports, t's a seven and a half hour drive from Clark's hometown of Dallas - so she decided to drop in.
Clark played backing guitar for Lewis' new song 'Girl On Girl', before she took to the drums for 'Just One Of The Guys'. As if that wasn't enough, the pair then performed 'Cheerleader' from St. Vincent's third album Strange Mercy, before teaming up for a cover of Deee-Lite's 'Groove Is In The Heart'.
