According to reports, Sliding Doors film star/vegan warrior and Chris Martin ex, Gwyneth Paltrow will feature on a new song from Coldplay's upcoming new album, A Head Full of Dreams which is slated for a 4 December release.
Billboard reports that the ex-wife of Coldplay frontman will be rocking up to perform backing vocals on the track titled 'Everglow'. We were hoping for 16 bars of straight fire, but we'll take some serene harmonies from the Iron Man actor.
Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow separated March last year which they labelled a 'conscious uncoupling'. The message the couple released was heart-warming and indicative of a mutually respective split. The emphasised the importance of remaining a family for the sake of their two children. And evidently are still on good terms, as this feature performance would have us believe.
Although this isn't Paltrow's first foray into the music world. As well as an extensive amount of time working with the cast of Glee, Paltrow has dipped her toes into the world of country collaborating with Tim McGraw back in 2011 and appeared on a Huey Lewis single prior to that in 2000.
In the lead up to the release of A Head Full Of Dreams, Coldplay have announced that Beyonce, Noel Gallagher and Tove Lo will be appearing on the tracklist. They band have only released one single to date titled 'An Adventure of a Lifetime'.

Yesterday, Coldplay released a statement and reschedule date in LA after they cancelled their show last Friday out of respect for the tragedy in Paris.
Coldplay have been also been announcing tour performance gearing up for the release of their upcoming seventh studio album. There are two UK dates including an intimate show at St John's Hackney Church and the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball.
