The nominations for this year's MOBO Awards have been announced, with FKA Twigs, Ghetts and Katy B all up for trophies at Europe's biggest urban music ceremony.
The stars leading the nominations this year are chart-dominating, soul singer Sam Smith and South London hip-hop duo Krept + Konan, who each pick up four recognitions each.
Sam Smith has been nominated for Best Male, Best R&B/Soul Act, Best Album for ‘In The Lonely Hour’ and Best Song for his UK No.1 hit ‘Stay With Me’, while Krept + Konan are shortlisted for Best Male, Best Hip Hop, Best Album for ‘Young Kingz’ and Best Song for ‘Don’t Waste My Time’.
FKA Twigs is close behind, nominated for three awards for Best Female, Best Newcomer and Best Video for her Queen of the Damned-esque ‘Two Weeks’.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony held at Glasgow's Hydro Arena on 19 October. This is the MOBO Awards 19th year.
