Jay Z has announced that he will be playing a ‘B-Sides’ concert in New York City, and fans can only win tickets if they join Tidal, create playlists and share them on Tidal.
‘Tidal X: Jay Z B-Sides’ will be a performance of “All the best ‘B-sides’ of [Jay Z’s] career”. While the venue has yet to be announced, the concert will be held at an "intimate New York City" venue on May 13.
In order to enter, one must be a Tidal subscriber (and 18 years or older), and then create a playlist and share it on Twitter, using the hashtag #TIDALXJAYZ. Winners will receive two free tickets to the concert. To find out more about the contest and to enter, visit tidal.com/us/tidalxjayz.
If you’re subscribed to Tidal and don’t win tickets, you can also stream the concert live on Tidal.
Over the weekend, Jay Z took to Twitter to defend Tidal and to address all of the criticisms that his streaming service has been receiving. He wrote: “The iTunes Store wasn't built in a day. It took Spotify 9 years to be successful… We are here for the long haul. Please give us a chance to grow & get better. #TidalFacts”. You can read his full series of Tweets below.
